What is love?

Do people need love?

Is it necessary for living?

Love is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship

 :attraction based on sexual desire :affection and tenderness felt by lovers: 

warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion, according to Merriam Webster Dictionary.

But according to the Bible, 'Love is patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, doesn't delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth, always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres and never fails.' 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

And the best example is God. For He has all the kinds of love that were mentioned. In short, God is love. 1 John 4:8b
For He gave His only begotten Son, to save us, sinners. He is the only one that can sacrifice and give His innocent Son, just to save undeserving people.





And then, we have Jesus. He is the Son of the God the Father. He died on the cross to pay for our sins. He has an unconditional love for us.

Do people really need love?

Indeed, people need love. 

We need love to motivate us, inspire us and make us feel important. We are longing for love because it is the most important thing that we think it is.

Romantic Love
(an intimate feelings with an opposite sex)

 Brotherly Love

(a love within brotherhood)

Family Love

( a kind of love that was given to whom you consider your family)

See, there are different kinds of love, and we have to admit that we all long for those kinds of love. We just simply need them to feel like a worthy person every day in our lives.

Is it really necessary to our lives?

        Love is a universal feeling, which is felt by every living being on this earth. Plants and animals, everyone is acquainted with this strange emotion. Though there is no definition to describe this unique feeling of love, it is characterized by a sense of attachment and affection towards somebody or something. So strong is the feeling that it is said that it makes the world go around. 

         If you are still wondering why is love so important in our lives, the answer is that it satisfies the emotional needs of human beings. Human beings have an innate quality of giving and feeling love. Moreover, it is even related with our biological structure. It is this feeling of love, which is responsible for the existence and maintenance of the society. 

         The sweet ecstasy of love enables the man to accomplish tasks that would not have been possible without its powers. The enigmatic emotion exceeds all boundaries and has great potential of changing lives of the people. The majesty of the feeling is such that it allows humans to treat each other with kindness and compassion. In fact one can say that there are a number of emotions bred by love. It might be any relation binding us together; love is ubiquitous in different forms.It is by the virtue of this emotion that sages have found eternal peace and enlightenment, as no love is superior to love for the Almighty, who has bestowed upon us its mercy in the form of this gentle feeling, which no matter how fragile, is the very foundation of life. I hope that you've learned a lot from me. One is that, love has its different definitions, but there's one common thing that we may think of, after hearing the word love, it is, God. We love because He first loved us. We have all the opportunities because of love. And we all were made with love.
